‎Luminous Shade emerged from the crucible of passionate young souls, united by their unwavering dedication to the resonance of music. These audacious artists converged in a tumultuous era, where the clamor of war drums deafened reason. Yet, they bore a unique sonic arsenal, armed only with words that reverberated with hope, intending to pierce the veil of obscurity that shrouded their society's tribulations. In an epoch where the veracious voice often languishes in silence, Luminous Shade undertook the noble charge of addressing paramount social, existential, and psychological challenges besieging our youth today, safeguarding their future.

Director's vision

In the realm of creative expression, a profound directorial vision has been meticulously woven into the tapestry of two remarkable projects, both orchestrated by the visionary filmmaker, Ali Taifour. This artistic journey commenced with the birth of the song "ABOUT ZILCH" in 2016, and its rebirth in 2023 under the careful curation of White Hole Studio. These ventures serve as a poignant exploration of the human condition, encapsulating the metaphorical state of being "deaf, dumb, and blind" in the face of the harrowing Syrian war.

At the core of this creative journey lies the powerful symbolism of The Three Wise Monkeys, encapsulating the timeless mantra of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." From the celestial heights, a radiant spotlight descends, calling upon society as a whole to confront the profound issues that these enigmatic figures symbolise, for their significance goes beyond the surface.

A luminous beam, directed upwards, penetrates the essence of these Three Wise Monkeys, symbolising a heartfelt plea to awaken the collective conscience within every human soul.

The candle holds a dual symbolism, serving as a poignant tribute to the innocent souls sacrificed in the crucible of oppression and as an everlasting reminder of their enduring memory.

The mysterious motif of smoke carries a nuanced significance with a dual purpose: it reveals the aftermath of destruction while also bearing witness to the ceaseless migration of conflict, highlighting the pressing need for practical solutions when the world tends towards indifference.

Within the visual narrative, the choreography of the Three Wise Monkeys, spinning in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions at different speeds, becomes a captivating symbol of the relentless flow of time and its profound significance.

Conceived in 2020 and reborn in 2023, it stands as a testament to White Hole Studio's boundless creativity. This narrative delves deep into the intricate realm of psychological warfare and the profound echoes of agonising betrayals, poetically symbolised by the ceaseless journey of a train. This locomotive embodies the never-ending cycle of betrayal, persisting even in the presence of open doors, entrapping individuals in the stranglehold of an unshakeable past.

The emotional turmoil of our main characters is poignantly portrayed through states of bewildering confusion, feverish delirium, and the relentless tapestry of memories. All of these elements are brought to life with masterful precision through the evocative use of visual effects, thereby maintaining thematic thread established in "ABOUT ZILCH".

In these two artistic endeavours, the director's vision unfurls as a captivating tapestry of artistry and symbolism, inviting viewers to engage in profound reflections on the intricate fabric of human existence and the enduring resonance of conflict and betrayal.

The director's and production vision that initially took root in the creation of the "ABOUT ZILCH" videos and of which "Darkness Of The Night" lyric video transcends far beyond isolated endeavours; it seamlessly weaves its creative threads to encompass the remaining ten songs within this illustrious album.

Within this artistic tapestry, each video carries its unique imprint, artfully enriched with the infusion of television waves, captivating distortions, and the selective integration of evocative black and white footage.
